CBS Sportscaster Bonnie Bernstein Named as Co-Host of ‘Contenders Club’

Revolutionary Fitness Videos Featuring Robert ‘Fastlane’ Forcelli

CBS sportscaster Bonnie Bernstein has signed on as a host for the Contenders Club fitness video series, the program that is sweeping the nation with its powerful approach to fitness. She will co-host an infomercial supporting the videos with former Golden Gloves boxer Robert “Fastlane” Forcelli, founder of Contenders Club, it was announced today by Contenders Club Chairman Peter Hochfelder. The videos consist of Forcelli’s boxing-based fitness program, which has swept the New York area, home of his Contenders Club classes. Bernstein has begun filming a 30-minute infomercial that will air across the U.S. beginning in the fourth quarter of 2003.

Bernstein has been involved in fitness throughout her life. An Academic All-American at the University of Maryland for her success on the gymnastics team and in the classroom, she graduated magna cum laude from the university with a degree in broadcast journalism.

Bernstein made her mark in the sports world during her stint on ESPN’s top-rated show “SportsCenter,” from 1995 – 1998. She now works the NFL sidelines as the field reporter for CBS. Additionally, she is the featured commentator for CBS/Westwood One’s radio broadcast of Monday Night Football. She is also a primary sideline reporter for college basketball on CBS, with a principal role at the Final Four. Finally, she often anchors CBS sports updates from the studio.

Bernstein will host an infomercial supporting Rob Forcelli’s time-tested Contenders Club program.
